NOD is lightweight on resources - true. And very important for slow machines!
It certainly is an awesome antivirus (and even antispyware) because it does detect absolute majority of nasties hiding under the hood.
It self-updates EVERY day, sometimes twice or thrice a day depending on how much virii are detected by NOD laboratories.
But it misses virii as well... there's no ideal scanning engine.
It's interface may look too simplistic, and some of the options need better explanation for novice users (all those monitors i.e. *MONS).
