Internet Explorer comes with built-in RSS reader. So it’s similar to Firefox or Opera browsers. However many people found the RSS reader in IE7 uncomfortable. If you are looking for better RSS reader based on RSS built in Windows Vista and IE7, try new application called RikReader. RikReader can be installed using Clickonce technology from its homepage. Then, you will find shortcuts in Start menu and Add/Remove applications.
RikReader is simple application using .NET Framework 3.0. If you aren’t in Windows Vista, you will need to download .NET Framework 3.0 for Windows XP and Internet Explorer 7. Simple look of RikReader without colourful buttons is ideal for comfortable reading of RSS news.

If you don’t like view with list of news, change RikReader’s layout to show only paragraphs with news. Set read flag for the news by clicking to the top right corner of the news. Font size change can be applied here too, of course. For hidden news you can use page changer at the bottom of the windows.

RikReader has very interesting feedback window. If you have a problem, you can write to the author and show him the part of the program you don’t like. You can show it by painting. Simple graphics editor in feedback window contain screenshot of RikReader window.
RikReader is using system built-in RSS management in Windows Vista and IE7. It means that you need to manage your feeds in Internet Explorer; RikReaded can only read the news. But it is totally ready for your comfortable reading of RSS news.
